Bleed out Berry

A crimson flood in a cup, sharp, bloody, and unapologetic. Drink it and watch the water stain like an opened vein, sweet and sour, pairs well with watching an old friend turn enemy turn corpse.

Beneath the crimson madness, hibiscus floods the body with antioxidants and supports healthy blood pressure, aronia berries strengthen immunity and circulation, blueberries add natural sweetness and protective compounds, while blackcurrant leaves bring a sharp, cleansing edge for balance. A vital brew that nourishes even as it bleeds red in the cup.

Ingredients: Hibiscus flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa), Aronia berries (Aronia melanocarpa), Blueberry pieces freeze-dried (Vaccinium corymbosum), Blackcurrant leaves (Ribes nigrum)

USE AND SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Add 1–2 teaspoons per cup. Use boiling water (100 °C) and steep for 8–10 minutes until the liquor runs a deep crimson. Lovely hot, or iced with a squeeze of lemon.

Reseal the ziplock after each use and keep the bag out of direct light to prevent the hibiscus from dulling in flavor.

The Cup Still Bleeds

I sipped slowly, but the tea ran down my chin as if the berries were bleeding. The table stained darker with each drop. By the end, the cup was empty, but the puddle kept spreading..
