Ashes to Dust

An ideal tea to sip while staring at the smoldering remains of everything you burned down and lays smoldering at your merciless feet. A brew for those who know that from ruin comes clarity. Inhale the smoke, exhale the silence, and drink to the world’s ending by your hand.. one cup at a time.

Greek mountain tea settles the lungs and clears the head, ginkgo sharpens memory and circulation, alant root supports breathing, and juniper adds a resinous kick while helping flush the system.

Ingredients: Greek mountain tea (Sideritis scardica), Ginkgo leaves (Ginkgo biloba), Elecampane root (Inula helenium), Juniper berries (Juniperus communis)

USE AND SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Use 1 heaped teaspoon per cup (250 ml). Pour boiled water (95–100 °C) over the blend and steep 6–8 minutes. Best enjoyed hot, though it also chills well. If you want a sweet iced tea, steep the tea hot and add honey to taste before cooling it down. Store the way you store your soul: sealed and away from sunlight.

The Fire still breathes

I brewed the leaves too long, and the steam curled into smoke that smelled of yesterday’s ruins. Each swallow scraped like charcoal across my throat. When I looked down, the cup was full of embers, and they were still glowing.
